Inspired by road cycling, the Concept 2 BikeErg builds power and endurance with every pedal stroke. It uses the same air-resistance flywheel and PM5 Performance Monitor as the Concept2 RowErg and SkiErg, so the ride is smooth and responsive and your data is accurate and comparable. The damper works like your "gearing", letting you change the feel of the ride quickly, and a clutch keeps the flywheel spinning when you stop pedalling, just like a real bike.

No power cable: the battery-powered PM5 runs on two D-cell batteries and also draws power from the spinning flywheel, so you don't need a plug point.

Easy to move, low maintenance: wheels let you roll it into place, and the self-tensioning belt drive needs very little upkeep.
